Trump Organization to Go Budget Friendly With ‘American Idea’ Hotel Chain

On the campaign trail, President Trump’s children rolled through dozens of small towns across the country, reveling in the adoration of the crowds. But they were less enamored of the budget-friendly hotels along the way, an assortment of run-of-the-mill offerings that were barely distinguishable from one another. That led to a business idea. On Monday, the Trump Organization announced plans for a new three-star hotel chain with a patriotic flair, echoing President Trump’s campaign slogan about putting America first and reflecting the organization’s promise to enter into new deals only in the United States. The intention is to differentiate the chain, called American Idea, by featuring artifacts of American culture in the hotels, such as an old Coca-Cola machine in the lobby or American-made sundries in the rooms. Shell-Nigeria pledges support for Lagos Ibile Oil and Gas project

The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), has pledged to support the Lagos State Ibile Oil and Gas project, as well as ensure regular gas supply to the light-up-Lagos project. Mr Bayo Ojulari, the Managing Director, SNEPCo, made this pledge when he visited the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Idiat Adebule, on Tuesday at Ikeja, Lagos. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the State Government on May 15, inaugurated the Ibile Oil and Gas Corporation (IOGC), as a business arm of the state in the oil and gas industry. Gambian Airline commences flights into Lagos

The Gambia’s new national carrier, Fly Mid Africa has put an end to the hitherto problem of flight connections across cities in Africa particularly West and Central Africa with the commencement of flight services from Banjul, the Gambian capital with onward connections to Lagos, Nigeria, Dakar in Senegal, Freetown in Sierra Leone and Accra in Ghana. This is sequel to the appointment of Nigeria’s fastest growing aviation and travels conglomerate, Peacock Aviation Services, as its General Sales Agent in Nigeria. FG Gives Lagos Govt Approval To Reconstruct Airport RoadThe Federal Government has granted approval to the Lagos State Government to commence a total reconstruction of the International Airport Road from Oshodi area of the state. The State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, disclosed this on Wednesday in a statement from the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tunji Bello. He commended Nigeria’s Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, for his statesman-like approach to issues and for fast-tracking the process. “We are very appreciative of the good gesture of His Excellency, the Acting President for acceding to our request which is not only very timely but a very heartwarming one.
